The blazing colors of fall on the western slopes of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah valley, viewed from Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park. This park includes part of the Blue Ridge Mountains which form the eastern boundary of the Shenandoah Valley. Skyline Drive, which runs along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains for the 105-mile length of the park, is a very popular tourist destination, especially in the fall when the foliage changes color.
